Investing.com -- Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) Building Automation Systems LLC, based in Huntsville, Alabama, has been awarded a $377,998,800 firm-fixed-price contract by the U.S. Department of Defense. The contract involves the procurement, installation, maintenance, and service of building automation systems.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Huntsville, Alabama, is overseeing the contracting activity, identified as W912DY-25-D-A008. The contract was awarded following a solicitation of bids via the internet, with only one bid received.
The work locations and funding will be determined with each order, and the project is expected to reach completion by July 16, 2030.
