Investing.com - Jacobs (NYSE: J) Government Services Co. was awarded a $249 million contract by the U.S. Department of War for architectural-engineering services in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Washington area of operations.
The firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N40080-26-D-1501) covers work at various locations including Virginia (40%), Washington, D.C. (20%), and Maryland (40%). Work is expected to be completed by June 2031.
The maximum dollar value, including the base period and one option period, totals $249 million. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $5,000 was obligated at time of award for minimum guarantee and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The contract was competitively procured via the SAM.gov website, with 10 offers received. NAVFAC Washington, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
