Inspecs partners with Qualcomm on smart eyewear technology

Investing.com -- Inspecs Group plc announced Tuesday a partnership with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. that includes a $10 million investment and a commercial collaboration to develop eyewear technology. Qualcomm Technologies will acquire 7,503,001 new ordinary shares at £1 per share, raising gross proceeds of approximately £7.5 million.
The funds will support Inspecs's growth and general working capital purposes. The companies plan to create a connected, technology-enabled platform aimed at redefining eyewear as a technology category.
The collaboration will combine Qualcomm Technologies' technology expertise with Inspecs's eyewear design capabilities, manufacturing operations, global distribution network and brand relationships to develop the next generation of wearable technology.
Admission of the new shares to trading on AIM is expected at 8:00 a.m. on June 18, 2026. Following admission, the total number of ordinary shares in issue will be 109,174,526, with no shares held in treasury.
