Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, recently stirred up more rumors of a potential takeover of his buzzing community by Google (NASDAQ: GOOG), the Daily Telegraph reports.
At LeWeb 09 in Paris, during a panel session, Dorsey was asked is Google was planning on acquiring Twitter. His answer? "There have been no announcements."
Well, as sure as the sun shines, the Internet immediately became flooded with speculation. Bookies in Vegas began taking bets, and Twitter itself began to enhance the aura.
