Sina (SINA) Could Release English Version of Weibo

Sina (Nasdaq: SINA) may be planning to release an English version of its Weibo microblogging platform, putting the company in direct competition with Twitter, TechWeb reported.

Last month Sina released an English version of its iPhone app, which adds credibility to today's Weibo rumor.
