Samsung Takes 'Me Too' Approach to Apple's (AAPL) Golden iPhone

Samsung is no dummy.

After market data has shown that demand for Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone 5s in gold color have been a smash hit, the company decided to go ahead and release its own version of a gold-colored device. On the company's Samsung Gulf Facebook page, there is a photo of two new Galaxy S4 devices: one with gold and brown colors and the other with gold and pink.

The devices might not make it out beyond some targeted demographic in the Gulf States region, though we don't see any reason why it wouldn't bring a gold/white, or gold/black Galaxy S4 to China and other Asian markets to boost sales.
