Monster Worldwide (MWW) Should Snap Back Soon, and Cramer's Buying

April 8, 2011 10:03 AM EDT
Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: MWW) shares are trading higher today, stemming in part from a positive mention by Jim Cramer.

Cramer notes that Monster lost about 33 percent of its value following fourth-quarter earnings, reported on January 27th. The results were in-line with the consensus, EPS of $0.06 on revs of $255.1 million, versus consensus EPS of $0.06 and $262.45 million in revs.

Guidance was a little shaky for Monster, seeing first-quarter EPS of $0.01 - $0.04 and revs of $254 - $265 million, versus consensus EPS of $0.04 and revs of $267 million.

However, with unemployment beginning to taper and job listing likely to increase, Cramer says that shares could very well be on a bullish trend.

Monster trades at about 20x earnings and has a 20 percent long-term growth rate. Cramer said he's a buyer, as shares should snap-back soon.

Shares of Monster are trading 4.4 percent better this morning. The Company is expected to report first-quarter earnings on April 28th.
