Herbalife (HLF) Retraces Recent Gains Amid Expected Ackman Comments

November 25, 2013 9:56 AM EST
Herbalife (NYSE: HLF) shares are down about 1 percent early Monday following recent strength in the stock late last week.

Investors and traders will be keeping an eye on Pershing Square's Bill Ackman, who commented last week at the Robin Hood conference that he would hold his Herbalife short to the end of the earth. The investor has been in Herbalife since late last year, losing over $400 million on the $1 billion bet as other activist investors have stepped in to take the other side of the trade.

Ackman is planning to make another strong case against Herbalife soon.

Shares of Herbalife closed up 4.7 percent on November 22nd.
