Crude Down Over $4 On Surprise Inventory Build
Crude for August delivery is down $4.22 today to $132.78 per barrel after EIA inventory numbers showed a surprise build in U.S. Crude Oil Inventories.
The EIA data showed that crude inventories rose 803K barrels, versus the consensus of a 1.1M barrel decline. Gasoline fell 153K barrels, versus the consensus of 0k. Distillate rose 2.823M barrels, versus the consensus of +2M.
