Cramer's Under The Radar Play: Gushan Energy (GU)
On Friday night's Mad Money, Jim Cramer presented Gushan Environmental Energy (NYSE: GU) as a top speculative play. Gushan is the largest producer of biodiesel in China. Diesel is the fuel of choice in China. Gushan gets their biodiesel from garbage.
Gushan Energy grew its earnings by 48% year over year and has a long-term growth rate of 20%.
Chinese stocks have been out of favor recently, Cramer said, but that won't last for long.
Cramer pointed out that a potential catalyst for this stock is China's real desire for cleaner air. The Chinese government has mandated that by 2020, 15% of China's energy must be renewable, like biodiesel.
