Instead of wasting your time buying bank CDs, Cramer recommends that you buy these three dividend stocks:
  • Altria (NYSE: MO) - a domestic tobacco company that has about a 50% stake in the U.S. cigarette market. Crame's said that shares are up 504% over two decades if reinvested dividend are included. The company also has a 50% stake of SAB Miller and recently acquired U.S. Tobacco (NYSE: UST), giving them a solid foothold in the smokeless tobacco market.

  • Waste Management (NYSE: WM) - controls about 30% of the U.S. trash market and pays a solid 3.8% dividend yield with constant raises.

  • 3M (NYSE: MMM) - a good global play as 70% of their revenues are from outside of the U.S. The company has raised their dividend every year for 51 years, currently yields 2.5%, and is a company that derives 29% of its revenues from innovation, keeping it at the forefront of its industry.
