Big Questions On Lehman (LEH) After CFO and COO Fired
Lehman Brothers (NYSE: LEH) is down 6% to $22.46 on news that CFO, Erin M. Callan, and President/COO, Joseph M. Gregory, are both out.
Investors have many questions, here are a few:
What about the $28 per share common stock offering priced 3 days ago? Will investors be able to get out due to a material adverse change?
What if Lehman can't get the $6 billion in liquidity the offering will provide?
If Callan was on the bubble, why did she run the entire conf call the other day?
Are more write-downs coming? Is the loss bigger? Accounting problems?
The reactionary low in Lehman, the Monday after the Bear Stearns collapse, is $20.25. This is the level to watch.
