March 25, 2011 12:56 PM EDT
Just weeks (not months this time) after Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) launched the iPad 2 in the U.S, 25 international markets get their chance to experience the only tablet that matters right now.

Lines are forming around the globe, with people reportedly standing in queue for more than two days in some instances with members of Steve Jobs' army filing in behind them in droves.

From England to Australia, lines have formed with each person hoping to be among the first international consumers to get their hands on the faster, thinner and lighter iPad 2.

Apple's newest tablet is launching today in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.K.

Let's face it, Apple is king of the tablets and that's not changing now or in the foreseeable future.
