SolarCity (Nasdaq: SCTY) filed an amended registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an Initial Public Offering of its Common Stock.
SolarCity boosted the expected offering amount from 10,065,012 shares up to 11,500,000 shares, while the expected price range fell from $13 to $15 down to $8 per share.
The company still plans to list on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker, "SCTY."
Underwriters on the offering include Goldman, Sachs & Co., Credit Suisse, BofA Merrill Lynch, Needham & Company, and Roth Capital Partners.
SolarCity sells renewable energy to our customers at prices below utility rates.
