J-Star prices $5 million IPO at $4 per share on NASDAQ
J-Star Holding Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: YMAT) announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 1,250,000 ordinary shares at $4.00 per share, according to a company statement. The Taiwan-based carbon fiber and composite solutions provider expects to raise approximately $5.0 million in gross proceeds before underwriting fees and expenses.
The company granted underwriter Maxim Group LLC a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 187,500 shares at the offering price. J-Star's shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under ticker symbol "YMAT" on July 30, 2025, with the offering expected to close on July 31, 2025.
J-Star develops carbon fiber and composite products for personal sports equipment, healthcare products, automobile parts, and resin systems. The company operates through subsidiaries in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Samoa, with headquarters in Taiwan. Its predecessor group was established in 1970.
Maxim Group LLC serves as the sole book-running manager for the offering. Loeb & Loeb LLP represents J-Star, while Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP acts as counsel to Maxim.
The Securities and Exchange Commission declared the company's Registration Statement on Form F-1 effective on July 29, 2025. The offering is being conducted under File No. 333-286805.
