BATS Global (BATS) IPO Prices at $16, Low End of Range

BATS Global Markets, Inc (OTC: BATS) priced its initial public offering of 6.3 million shares at $16, the low end of the expected $16-$20 range. Shares will open on the BATS Exchange, Inc. (BZX) later today under the symbol "BATS."

The offering is being led by Morgan Stanley, Citi, Credit Suisse.

BATS Global Markets is an innovative global financial technology company that develops and operates electronic markets for the trading of listed cash equity securities in the United States and Europe and listed equity options in the United States. BATS is third largest exchange operator in the United States after NYSE Euronext and The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc.

Pro forma revenues for the year ended 2011 was $999.5 million, versus $834.8 million in 2010 and $908.2 million in 2009. Pro forma net income for the year ended 2011 was $24.3 million, versus $19.8 million in 2010 and $24.5 million in 2009.
