Singer's Elliott Associates Biggest Gainer in Brocade (BRCD) Pop

Gaining on the move from Brocade (Nasdaq: BRCD) is Paul Singer's Elliott Associates.
From the second-quarter of 2011, Singer moved his stake in Brocade from 1,626,000 shares to 47,912,000 shares, or about 10.5 percent of all Brocade outstanding common.
Though Brocade did drop off over the summer with much of the tech industry, today's jump brings the stock back to levels seen in July.
Shares are up about 8.3 percent following M&A rumors earlier in the session Monday.
