Cohen's SAC to 'Soft Close' Flagship Fund
Steven Cohen is following the footsteps several prominent hedge fund managers have already made.
According to sources, Cohen will be closing his flagship fund beginning on August 1st.
The fund will no longer accept money from new or current investors, otherwise called a "soft close."
The flagship fund is outperforming many of its peers, up 10 percent on the year so far.
Cohen's decision follows that of George Soros, who is closing his shop this year, and Stan Druckenmiller, who shut Duquesne Capital Management last year.
