Usio Inc. (NASDAQ: USIO) processed more than $8.4 billion in payment volume during 2025, representing a 19% increase from $7.1 billion in 2024, according to preliminary data disclosed in the company's annual shareholder letter.
The fintech company also processed 60.4 million total payment transactions in 2025, compared to 47 million in the prior year, marking a 29% increase. Chairman and CEO Louis Hoch noted that while the company expects to report record revenues for 2025, revenue growth will not mirror the double-digit rates of prior years due to the loss of a significant reseller account and lower interest rates.
The company's ACH division achieved quarterly records in the third and fourth quarters, with fourth-quarter results showing 14% sequential growth compared to the third quarter. PINless debit and Card/PayFac processing volumes also reached quarterly records in the fourth quarter.
Usio's Card Issuing division experienced challenges in 2025, with prepaid load volume declining to approximately $300 million from $500 million in 2024. Prepaid transactions dropped to 8 million from 11 million in the prior year, primarily due to the loss of a reseller's amusement park card program.
The company maintained positive adjusted EBITDA over multiple consecutive quarters and generated operating cash flows while exercising disciplined cost management. Usio's balance sheet remains strong with liquidity to support operations, strategic initiatives, and share repurchases.
For 2026, Hoch anticipates strong double-digit revenue growth, citing secured high-volume card programs expected to launch and potential new business opportunities including a large state school voucher payment program.
The financial results are preliminary and subject to completion of the company's audit by its independent public accounting firm.
