Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) delivered 418,227 vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2024, falling short of the Bloomberg consensus estimate of 440,900 vehicles, according to a company statement released on Friday.

The electric vehicle manufacturer produced 434,358 vehicles during the quarter, with Model 3 and Model Y accounting for 406,585 deliveries and 422,652 units produced. Other models, including the Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck, contributed 11,642 deliveries and 11,706 units produced.

For the full year 2024, Tesla delivered 1,636,129 vehicles and produced 1,654,667 vehicles. Model 3 and Model Y deliveries totaled 1,585,279 vehicles for the year, while other models accounted for 50,850 deliveries.

The company also reported deploying 14.2 GWh of energy storage products in the fourth quarter, which Tesla described as a record for deployments. Energy storage products include Tesla's Powerwall, Powerpack, and Megapack systems.

The delivery figures came in below both the Bloomberg consensus and Tesla's own analyst consensus estimate of 422,850 vehicles that was released on Monday. Vehicle deliveries serve as the closest approximation to sales for Tesla, as the company reports delivery numbers rather than traditional sales figures.
