KCG Holdings (KCG) Updates on Sept. Trade Volumes

KCG Holdings (NYSE: KCG) released trade volumes for the month of September 2014.

In Market Making, KCG averaged $27.2 billion dollar volume traded, 6.1 billion shares traded, and 3.5 million trades per day in U.S. equities.

In Global Execution Services:

• KCG electronic execution averaged 264.0 million shares traded per day in U.S. equities
• KCG Hotspot averaged $38.2 billion per day in notional foreign exchange dollar volume
• KCG BondPoint averaged $130.8 million per day in fixed income par value

As for the overall market conditions in September, consolidated U.S. equity volume averaged $252.3 billion in dollar volume and 6.1 billion shares traded per day. The realized volatility for the S&P 500 was 9.6.

In September, there were 21 trading days in U.S. equities, 22 in foreign exchange and 21 in fixed income.
