Hyperfine Inc. (NASDAQ: HYPR) reported preliminary third-quarter revenue of approximately $3.4 million, representing sequential growth of 27% compared to the second quarter of 2025, according to a company statement.
The portable MRI system manufacturer sold eight commercial Swoop systems during the quarter, with 63% being the next generation version. The preliminary average device selling price reached approximately $360,000, up 36% sequentially from the second quarter.
Cash burn for the quarter declined to approximately $5.9 million, down 27% from the previous quarter. The company reported preliminary cash and cash equivalents of approximately $21.6 million as of September 30, 2025.
"In the third quarter, we saw strong market excitement and demand for our next generation Swoop system and Optive AI software, evidenced by our ability to quickly close several hospital deals at leading institutions and strong sequential revenue growth," said Maria Sainz, chief executive officer.
The company converted its entire U.S. hospital pipeline to next generation Swoop systems and placed the devices across key hospital sites including adult critical care, pediatric critical care, and emergency departments. Hyperfine also initiated a commercial launch in office settings and began rolling out its Optive AI software to its installed base in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
The Swoop system is FDA-cleared for brain imaging and represents the first portable, ultra-low-field magnetic resonance brain imaging system capable of providing imaging at multiple points of care.
The preliminary financial results are unaudited and subject to completion of quarter-end closing procedures. Actual results may differ from these estimates, the company noted.
