Destination XL Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: DXLG) reported total sales of $89.9 million for the nine-week holiday period ended January 3, 2026, down from $94.7 million in the same period last year.

The men's big and tall clothing retailer said comparable sales decreased 5.8% during the holiday period. Store comparable sales declined 7.2% while direct business comparable sales fell 2.8%.

"We saw an improvement in our sales results during this 9-week holiday period, with a comparable sales decrease of 5.8% as compared to the decrease of 8.7% experienced through the first nine months of fiscal 2025," said Harvey Kanter, President and Chief Executive Officer.

The company's direct business showed improvement compared to earlier in the fiscal year, with the 2.8% decline during the holiday period comparing favorably to a 14.6% decrease through the first nine months of fiscal 2025.

Destination XL previously announced a merger agreement with FullBeauty on December 11, 2025. The combined companies reported net sales of approximately $1.2 billion for the twelve months ending October 2025. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of fiscal year 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and DXL shareholder approval.

The companies reported combined Adjusted EBITDA of approximately $45 million for the last twelve months ending October 2025. Including expected cost synergies of $25 million, the combined company would have generated approximately $70 million of Adjusted EBITDA.

Destination XL operates DXL Big + Tall retail and outlet stores throughout the United States, along with an e-commerce website and mobile app.
