Costco reports 8.1% November sales increase to $23.64 billion

Costco Wholesale Corporation (NASDAQ: COST) reported net sales of $23.64 billion for November, representing an 8.1% increase from $21.87 billion in the same period last year.

The retailer's first quarter net sales reached $65.98 billion for the twelve weeks ended November 23, 2025, up 8.2% from $60.99 billion in the prior year. Net sales for the first thirteen weeks totaled $71.97 billion, an increase of 8.2% from $66.52 billion last year.

Comparable sales growth varied by region during November. U.S. locations recorded 6.0% comparable sales growth, while Canada achieved 6.9% and other international markets posted 11.4%. The company's digitally-enabled sales showed stronger performance with 16.6% growth for the four-week period.

When excluding impacts from gasoline price changes and foreign exchange fluctuations, comparable sales figures were 5.8% for the U.S., 8.3% for Canada, and 8.0% for other international markets. Total company comparable sales on this adjusted basis reached 6.4% for November.

For the twelve-week first quarter, total company comparable sales increased 6.4%, with digitally-enabled sales growing 20.5% during the same period.

Costco operates 921 warehouses globally, including 633 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 112 in Canada, and 176 in other international markets across Mexico, Japan, the United Kingdom, Korea, Australia, Taiwan, China, Spain, France, Sweden, Iceland, and New Zealand. The company also operates e-commerce sites in eight countries.
