Contango schedules webinar on $50 million financing and exploration plans

Contango ORE, Inc. (NYSE American: CTGO) will host a webinar on September 26 at 2:00 p.m. EST to discuss its recently completed $50 million financing and plans for using the proceeds to advance exploration and development at its Lucky Shot and Johnson Tract properties.
The company announced the webinar will cover how it intends to use the financing proceeds to grow gold production from its current 60,000 ounces annually to 200,000 ounces using its direct ship ore model. Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse, president and CEO, stated the financing "will be transformational for the Company" and will allow achievement of growth objectives while continuing operations at Manh Choh and reducing hedge book and debt obligations.
Contango completed its third campaign of 2025 and plans to report results soon, according to the announcement. The company noted it has 15.5 million shares outstanding and maintains operations in Alaska.
The Alaska-based company holds a 30% interest in Peak Gold, LLC, which leases approximately 675,000 acres for the Manh Choh project. Kinross Gold Corporation's subsidiary KG Mining (Alaska), Inc. owns the remaining 70% and operates the joint venture. Contango also maintains leases on the Johnson Tract and Lucky Shot projects and owns mining claims totaling approximately 153,600 acres in Alaska.
