Castellum Inc. (NYSE: CTM) published a letter to shareholders from Chief Executive Officer Glen Ives marking his first year in the role. The Vienna, Virginia-based cybersecurity and electronic warfare services company outlined accomplishments since July 1, 2024.
The company raised over $16 million through public offerings and warrant exercises during the period. Long-term debt was reduced to less than $5 million, according to the letter. Castellum won its largest prime contract in company history, a $103.3 million, 5.5-year contract for Special Missions support of the Naval Air Systems Command Program Office PMA 290.
The company established two mentor-protégé relationships and related joint ventures with woman-owned and native Hawaiian organizations. A new subsidiary was created to focus on advanced technology products.
Ives described the company's transition from a four-year startup phase focused on acquiring and integrating seven companies to a second phase emphasizing organic growth. The company now operates as a large business competing in government contracting.
Castellum provides cybersecurity, electronic warfare, and software engineering services to federal government customers. The company's capabilities span software development, systems engineering, electronic and information warfare, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and machine learning, data analytics, and digital modernization.
The letter stated the company aims to become a large defense contractor through contract wins and strategic acquisitions. Ives noted the company has achieved consistent contractor performance assessment reports from government customers.
