The Dublin, Ohio-based pharmaceutical distributor expects specialty revenues to exceed $50 billion in fiscal 2026, representing a 16% compound annual growth rate over three years. This growth is driven by demand across specialty distribution, expansion of managed service organization platforms, and anticipated revenue growth of over 30% in BioPharma Solutions.
"Our team's execution against our strategic growth plan continues to deliver meaningful results, and as a demonstration of our confidence and momentum, we are pleased to again raise our expectations for fiscal year 2026," said Jason Hollar, CEO of Cardinal Health.
The company completed transitions of manufacturer distribution service agreements for all branded pharmaceutical products affected by the 2026 Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program before the January 1 implementation date.
Cardinal Health's Sonexus Access and Patient Support business secured contracts with manufacturer partners to serve over 1 million patients through patient support hub programs. This includes transitioning Sanofi and Regeneron's Dupixent My Way patient support program and several oncology programs from other manufacturers.
The company introduced its ContinuCare Pathway program through its at-Home Solutions business, designed to simplify diabetes supply management for pharmacies and patients. Publix Super Markets enrolled its network of nearly 1,400 pharmacies in the program, expanding ContinuCare Pathway to over 11,000 retail and grocery pharmacies.
Cardinal Health will provide additional details during its second quarter earnings call scheduled for February 5, 2026. The company presented at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference on January 13.
