Biodesix reports preliminary Q4 revenue of $28.8 million

Biodesix Inc. (NASDAQ: BDSX) reported preliminary fourth quarter revenue of $28.8 million, representing a 41% increase from the prior year period. Full-year revenue reached an estimated $88.5 million, up 24% from 2024.
The Louisville, Colorado-based diagnostic solutions company said its Lung Diagnostics revenue totaled $25.2 million in the fourth quarter, a 47% increase year-over-year. Test volumes rose 23% to 18,000 for the quarter. Full-year Lung Diagnostics revenue was $79.2 million, up 22% from the previous year, with test volumes increasing 15% to 62,600.
Development Services revenue was $3.6 million for the fourth quarter, up 13% from the prior year, and $9.3 million for the full year, representing a 41% increase.
The company reported cash and cash equivalents of $19.0 million as of December 31, 2025, which included $2.3 million from at-the-market equity proceeds during the quarter.
"Biodesix finished 2025 with a strong fourth quarter delivering full year estimated revenue of $88.5 million, exceeding the top end of our increased guidance of $84-$86 million," said Scott Hutton, Chief Executive Officer.
The company affirmed its expectation of positive Adjusted EBITDA for the fourth quarter. Biodesix noted that approximately $1.0 million of the Lung Diagnostics revenue increase came from collections of claims older than one year.
The financial results are preliminary, unaudited, and subject to final review and adjustment by the company's independent registered public accounting firm, according to the press release.
