Amber International CEO outlines strategy focusing on AI and crypto convergence

Amber International Holding Limited (NASDAQ: AMBR) released a letter from CEO Michael Wu outlining the company's strategic direction and leadership structure. The Singapore-based crypto financial services provider operates under the brand name "Amber Premium" and serves institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals across Asia.

Wu, who serves as both CEO and co-founder, detailed a two-pronged strategy centered on artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency integration. The company plans to apply AI agent technologies to enhance its digital wealth and crypto financial services while positioning crypto as infrastructure for an AI agent economy.

The letter introduced the company's executive team, including President Vicky Wang, Chief Product Officer Yi Bao, VP of Engineering Alex Zhang, Chief Financial Officer Josephine Ngai, and Head of Americas Jeffrey Wang. The board includes co-founders Luke Li and Wayne Huo, along with four independent directors.

Amber International describes itself as Asia's digital wealth and crypto financial services platform, backed by Amber Group, which has operated in crypto finance since 2017. The company went public approximately six months ago and combines private banking services with digital asset access.

The strategic roadmap focuses on strengthening core business operations while integrating AI technologies into products and client services. Wu stated the company aims to maintain startup culture while embracing public company governance and transparency requirements.

According to the letter, Amber Group originated as Amber AI, applying machine learning and neural networks to market pricing and trading. The company positions itself at the intersection of crypto and AI technologies, anticipating their role in shaping finance and society.
