APA Corporation (NASDAQ: APA) released preliminary financial and operational data for the second quarter of 2025, including estimated commodity pricing and production updates.

The company reported estimated average realized prices of $64.85 per barrel for U.S. oil and $66.20 per barrel for international oil during the quarter. Natural gas liquids averaged $19.80 per barrel domestically and $41.60 per barrel internationally. Natural gas prices were $1.00 per thousand cubic feet in the U.S. and $4.00 internationally.

APA curtailed approximately 10 million cubic feet per day of U.S. natural gas production and 750 barrels per day of U.S. natural gas liquids production in response to weak or negative Waha hub prices.

The company completed the sale of New Mexico assets in June, receiving approximately $575 million in net proceeds after closing adjustments and transaction costs. The divestiture reduced APA's second quarter U.S. production by approximately 1.8 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, with 33% being oil.

APA reported estimated dry hole costs of $30 million to $35 million before tax and Egypt tax barrels of 32 to 33 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day. The company recorded a net gain on oil and gas purchases and sales of $158 million before tax, which includes realized gains and losses from commodity derivatives.

The estimated weighted-average basic common shares outstanding for the second quarter was 361 million. APA will host a conference call to discuss second-quarter 2025 results on August 7 at 10 a.m. Central time.
