The Andersons, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANDE) announced a growth target of $7.00 earnings per share by the end of 2028, representing a 36% compounded annual growth rate from $2.56 per share for the trailing twelve months ended September 30, 2025.

The Maumee, Ohio-based agricultural and renewable fuels company unveiled the target during its 2025 Investor Day. The company outlined several strategic initiatives to achieve this growth objective.

ANDERSONS plans a $60 million capital investment at its Clymers, Indiana ethanol plant, expected to increase ethanol capacity by 30 million gallons by mid-2027. The company also intends to complete expansion of its export terminal at the Port of Houston in 2026, which will enable soybean meal exports to international markets.

The growth strategy includes leveraging opportunities from the Skyland Grain acquisition and integration to strengthen geographic presence and expand merchandising capabilities. The company stated it will focus on operating efficient, low-carbon intensity ethanol plants and maximizing 45Z tax credits.

"Our long-term strategic framework outlines the opportunities we have to accelerate our growth, optimize our margin potential, and continue to deliver value through a disciplined deployment of capital across the enterprise," said President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Krueger.

Executive Vice President and CFO Brian Valentine stated the company is positioned to capitalize on growth trends in agriculture and renewable fuels markets.

The company indicated it will continue returning capital to shareholders through dividend payments and share repurchases. ANDERSONS has maintained dividend payments for more than 25 consecutive years.

The information was disclosed during the company's investor presentation, according to the press release statement.
