PC Mall Inc. (NASDAQ: MALL) today announced they will be carrying the highly anticipated BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet from Research In Motion (NYSE: RIM).
The BlackBerry PlayBook tablet will be available from PC Mall in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models priced at $499, $599 and $699 respectively, it will be available to purchase at their website and by phone at 1-800-555-MALL on April 19.
In addition to its ultra-portable design, the BlackBerry PlayBook delivers industry leading performance, uncompromised web browsing with support for Adobe® Flash 10.1, true multitasking, HD multimedia, advanced security features, out-of-the-box enterprise support and a robust development platform.
It consists of a 7" LCD touch screen, weighs less than a pound and is less than 1/2" thick, 1 GHz dual-core processor, MP3, AAC and WMA audio playback, 1080p HDMI out, Dual 1080p HD cameras for video conferencing and video capture, 1 GB RAM memory, Up to 64 GB internal storage (16, 32 and 64 GB models), Stereo speakers and stereo microphones, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Bluetooth.
