Exclusive: FalconX joins Taurus’s institutional digital asset network

June 15, 2026 8:21 AM EDT

Investing.com -- FalconX, the institutional digital asset prime brokerage that recently filed for an initial public offering, has joined Taurus-NETWORK, the interbank settlement and collateral system for digital assets operated by Swiss infrastructure provider Taurus, Investing.com has learned.

As a member of the network, FalconX will provide liquidity and financing solutions to other participants globally, leveraging the system's infrastructure to connect institutional counterparties.

The firm will also help develop new use cases spanning collateral management, lending and borrowing, and derivatives.

Taurus-NETWORK, which launched in April 2025, links regulated financial institutions across four continents and ten jurisdictions, serving as shared infrastructure for issuing, trading, and settling digital assets in compliance with global regulatory standards.

Participants can transact and pledge collateral directly between their Taurus custody environments without routing funds through intermediaries, while built-in collateral management and automated settlement tools aim to simplify complex financial operations.

Joshua Lim, Global Co-Head of Markets at FalconX, believes the move will allow the firm to extend its liquidity and credit capabilities to a broader set of institutional counterparties, supporting more efficient capital flows across the digital asset ecosystem.

The partnership comes as FalconX pursues a public listing, having confidentially filed a draft S-1 registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in late May. In mid-2022, its valuation was $8 billion when it raised $150 million in a Series D round.

For Taurus, the addition of FalconX extends the reach of its network as it continues to position itself as core infrastructure for institutions operating in regulated digital asset markets.
