dLocal completes secondary offering of 17.3 million shares at $12.75

DLocal Limited (NASDAQ: DLO) announced the completion of a secondary offering of 17,250,000 Class A common shares at $12.75 per share. The shares were sold by an entity associated with General Atlantic, with underwriters exercising their full option to purchase an additional 2,250,000 shares.
The company will not receive any proceeds from the offering as it did not sell any shares. The total value of the offering amounts to approximately $220.2 million based on the offering price.
J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, and Morgan Stanley served as global coordinators and joint bookrunners for the transaction. BTG Pactual and Citigroup acted as joint bookrunners.
The offering was conducted through an automatically effective shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. DLocal operates as a payments platform focused on emerging markets, providing services across more than 40 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
The announcement was made through a press release issued by the company based in Montevideo, Uruguay.
