ORIC Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ORIC), a clinical stage oncology company focused on developing treatments that address mechanisms of therapeutic resistance, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 7,500,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $16.00 per share. All of the shares of common stock are being offered by ORIC. In addition, ORIC has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,125,000 additional shares of common stock at the initial public offering price, less the underwriting discounts and commissions. The shares are expected to begin trading on The Nasdaq Global Select Market on April 24, 2020 under the symbol “ORIC.” The gross proceeds from the offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by ORIC, are expected to be $120.0 million, excluding any exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares. The offering is expected to close on April 28, 2020, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, Jefferies and Guggenheim Securities are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
Registration statements relating to the offering have been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and became effective on April 23, 2020.
