Leifras Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: LFS), a Tokyo-based youth sports and community services company, issued JPY200 million in 5-year unsecured Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) private placement bonds on January 30, 2026, underwritten by The Chikuho Bank, Ltd.

The bonds were issued under Chikuho Bank's "Chikugin Regional Support Private Placement Bonds" framework, through which 0.2% of the total issuance value is donated to educational or welfare support organizations. Leifras designated Taiyo to Kodomo Project, an organization that provides sports, arts, and vocational education to children facing abuse and socioeconomic hardship, as the donation recipient. A ceremony marking the issuance was held at Chikuho Bank's Chikugin Fukuoka Building on June 5, 2026.

According to the company, this marks a continuation of a bond-based support arrangement first established in 2022. The unsecured structure of the bonds requires the issuer to pass financial screening by the underwriting bank.

Kiyotaka Ito, Representative Director and CEO of Leifras, said, "While we have historically supported youth development through sports, we recognize that many children in our society still lack basic access to sports, arts, and educational opportunities. As we scale our business operations, we view the creation of social value alongside business value as a core responsibility."

Leifras operates children's sports schools and provides school club activity outsourcing support across Japan. The company stated it plans to continue partnerships with local governments and financial institutions under its corporate philosophy.
