FuboTV Inc. (NYSE: FUBO) repurchased $140.2 million in aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 3.25% Convertible Senior Notes due 2026, the streaming company announced.
The repurchase was executed at 100% of the notes' principal amount plus accrued and unpaid interest, pursuant to the terms of the indenture governing the 2026 notes. The notes were originally scheduled to mature on February 15, 2026.
Fubo funded the repurchase using proceeds from a $145 million term loan obtained in connection with its business combination with Hulu + Live TV. The company received the loan proceeds last week.
The repurchase leaves $4.5 million in aggregate principal amount of the 2026 notes outstanding, which Fubo plans to repay in cash at maturity in February 2026.
"Today's repurchase, funded with the proceeds from our recent term loan, underscores Fubo's continued proactive management of our capital structure," said David Gandler, co-founder and CEO of Fubo. "We are also pleased to report that no shareholders were diluted as a result of this repurchase, as we have repaid the 2026 notes in cash using proceeds from the recent term loan."
Fubo also announced that no holders exercised their fundamental change repurchase rights for its Convertible Senior Notes due 2029 following the business combination with Hulu + Live TV.
The information is based on a company press release.
