Doubleview Gold closes first tranche of private placement for $725,100
Doubleview Gold Corp (TSXV: DBG) (OTCQB: DBLVF) (FSE: 1D4) announced the completion of the first tranche of its non-brokered private placement, raising $725,099.70 in gross proceeds.
The Vancouver-based mineral exploration company issued 557,769 flow-through units at $1.30 per unit. Each unit consists of one flow-through common share and one warrant exercisable at $2.00 per share for 24 months, expiring December 23, 2026.
The company will use proceeds to fund exploration activities on its British Columbia projects, with particular focus on the Hat Project located in northwestern BC. Research Capital Corporation received finder's fees of $2,502.50 in cash and 1,925 non-transferable finder's warrants.
Securities issued in the first tranche are subject to a four-month hold period ending April 23, 2026. The private placement requires final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
Doubleview expects to close the remaining portion of the private placement in the coming weeks, according to the company's statement.
The flow-through shares qualify under subsection 66(15) of Canada's Income Tax Act, allowing investors to claim certain tax deductions related to the company's exploration expenditures.
