China Yuchai International Limited (NYSE: CYD) announced that one of its indirect subsidiaries is considering a potential listing on a foreign stock exchange, according to a company statement.

The subsidiary has begun preparatory work for the potential listing, though the company emphasized the process remains in preliminary stages. The listing depends on several factors including due diligence results, corporate reorganization, regulatory approvals, and market conditions.

China Yuchai stated there is no certainty the listing will materialize. The company noted the process is subject to requisite approvals from relevant regulatory authorities and prevailing market conditions at the time.
