Battery Mineral Resources closes $2.8M private placement offering

Battery Mineral Resources Corp. (TSXV: BMR) (OTCQB: BTRMF) completed the final tranche of its private placement offering, raising $1,708,406 through the sale of 8,542,030 common shares at $0.20 per share, according to a company statement.



The Vancouver-based mining company has now raised aggregate gross proceeds of $2,760,053 through the sale of 13,800,265 shares across three tranches of the offering, which was originally announced April 15, 2026. The first tranche closed April 22, 2026, raising $451,647, while the second tranche closed May 7, 2026, for $600,000.



The shares were issued under the Listed Issuer Financing Exemption pursuant to National Instrument 45-106 and are not subject to resale restrictions under Canadian securities laws. The offering was also conducted in the United States through private placement exemptions under the Securities Act of 1933.



Battery Mineral Resources stated it intends to use the net proceeds to advance processing plant operations and planned underground development at its Punitaqui Mining Complex in Chile's Coquimbo region, as well as for general working capital purposes.



The company paid finder's fees of $78,024 to an arm's length party in connection with the final tranche closing, in compliance with securities laws and TSX Venture Exchange policies.



Battery Mineral Resources operates the Punitaqui Mining Complex, a copper, gold, and silver-producing mine in Chile, and also owns ESI Energy Services Inc. and North American mineral exploration assets.
