Avedro, Inc. (AVDR) Prices 5M Share IPO at $14/Sh

Avedro, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVDR), a leading commercial-stage ophthalmic medical technology company focused on treating corneal ectatic disorders and improving vision to reduce dependency on eyeglasses or contact lenses, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 5,000,000 shares of common stock at a price to the public of $14.00 per share, for total gross proceeds of $70.0 million. In addition, Avedro has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 750,000 additional shares of common stock at the initial public offering price less underwriting discounts and commissions.

The shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol “AVDR” on February 14, 2019, and the offering is expected to close on February 19, 2019, subject to customary closing conditions.

BofA Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Cowen, Guggenheim Securities and SVB Leerink are acting as co-managers for the offering.
