New home sales for the month of February come in at 250,000, vs. the consensus of 290,000. January's initial reading of 284,000 was revised higher to 301,000.
On a month-over-month basis, new home sales plummeted 16.9%, vs. the consensus of 2.1%. New home sales during January tumbled 9.6%.
