Sempra Energy (SRE) Tops Q4 EPS by 31c

Sempra Energy (NYSE: SRE) reported Q4 EPS of $2.35, $0.31 better than the analyst estimate of $2.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.46 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.79 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Sempra Energy sees FY2023 EPS of $8.60-$9.20, versus the consensus of $9.00.

• Sempra is reaffirming its full-year 2023 earnings per common share (EPS) guidance range of $8.60 to $9.20. The company is also reiterating its long-term projected EPS compound annual growth rate of approximately 6% to 8% based on the midpoint of 2023 EPS guidance range.
