DreamWorks Animation (DWA) Posts Q1 Loss of 51c/Share

DreamWorks Animation (NASDAQ: DWA) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.51), which may not compare with the analyst estimate of ($0.10). Revenue for the quarter came in at $147.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $133.95 million.

The Company's first quarter 2014 results included an impairment charge of $57 million related to the performance of Mr. Peabody & Sherman in the worldwide theatrical market.
