Chewy (CHWY) Shares Down 7% on Q3 EPS Miss

Chewy (NYSE: CHWY) shares were trading more than 7% lower after-hours following the company’s Q3 results, with EPS coming in at ($0.08), missing the consensus estimate of ($0.04). Quarterly net sales grew 24.1% to $2.21 billion, in line with the Street estimates.
According to Sumit Singh, the CEO of the company, demand and consumer engagement remained strong through Q3, with net sales up 86% on a two-year stack basis.
The company provided its Q4 outlook, expecting revenue to range from $2.4 billion to 2.44 billion, compared to the consensus estimate of $2.43 billion.
