Brunswick (BC) Misses Q2 EPS by 9c; cuts guidance

Brunswick (NYSE: BC) reported Q2 EPS of $1.80, $0.09 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.89. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.44 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.55 billion.

The company lowered its guidance. It sees Q3 EPS in the range of $1.15-1.25 (vs. consensus of $2.24) on sales of $1.2-1.3 billion (vs. consensus of $1.62B).

Sees FY EPS in the range of $5.00-5.50 (vs. the consensus of $7.13) on sales of $5.2-5.4 billion (vs. the consensus of $5.96B).
