Becton Dickinson (BDX) Tops Q1 EPS by 7c

Becton Dickinson (NYSE: BDX) reported Q1 EPS of $2.48, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $2.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.08 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.05 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Becton Dickinson sees FY2018 EPS of $10.85-$11.00, versus the consensus of $10.88. Revenues for the full fiscal year 2018, including the accretion from the acquisition of C.R. Bard, are expected to increase approximately 30.0 to 31.0 percent on a reported basis.
