American Water Works (NYSE: AWK) reported Q1 EPS of $0.29, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $618.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $633.79 million.

Sees FY2012 EPS of $1.90-$2.00, versus the consensus of $1.96.
