ANSYS (ANSS) Tops Q2 EPS by 7c

ANSYS (NASDAQ: ANSS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.99, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.92. Revenue for the quarter came in at $264.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $259.6 million.

GUIDANCE:

ANSYS sees Q3 2017 GAAP EPS of $0.71-$0.80, versus the consensus of $0.95.

ANSYS sees FY 2017 GAAP EPS of $3.00-$3.18, versus the consensus of $3.78, revenues of $1.05-1.071 billion, versus consensus of $1.05 billion
