PurePlay ETFs launches Nvidia value chain fund on Nasdaq
PurePlay ETFs has launched the PurePlay Nvidia Ecosystem Picks & Shovels Index ETF (NASDAQ: NVPS), which the company describes as the first U.S. ETF designed to track the Nvidia value chain.
The fund uses FactSet Supply Chain Relationship data to identify companies that derive at least 50% of their revenue from activities related to Nvidia's supply chain. Eligible companies are organized across six categories: raw materials, tools, fabrication, packaging, infrastructure, and connectivity. Holdings are weighted based on their level of involvement and criticality within the value chain.
NVPS tracks the Solactive Nvidia Picks & Shovels Index. Exchange Traded Concepts, LLC serves as the investment advisor, and the fund is distributed by Foreside Fund Services, LLC.
"We built NVPS around a simple idea: own the ecosystem behind the theme, without dilution from unrelated holdings," said Joseph DeYonker, founder of PurePlay ETFs. "Investors today are often choosing between broad AI funds that can dilute the theme or leveraged single-stock products that are not built for everyone."
NVPS is the first fund issued by PurePlay ETFs. The fund carries several disclosed risks, including concentration risk tied directly to Nvidia-specific developments, non-diversification risk, and risks associated with being a new fund with a limited operating history.
